31st May – last day for completing the survey for the Neighbourhood Development Plan
It’s not too late to have your say and it is really important that as many members of the community do so. If you haven’t yet completed the survey, follow this link to get to the survey, it only takes a couple of minutes.
JUNE
2nd June – Launch of the children’s Trim Trail! – Village Green
The wait is finally over—installation of our brand-new Children’s Trim Trail begins on 1st June! Get ready to see the Green transformed into a hub of climbing, balancing, and outdoor play. This exciting new addition has been designed to challenge our little explorers and provide a safe, active space for the whole village to enjoy.
The “official” opening will be on the 2nd with the ice cream van arriving at 3pm plus Cllr Liz Alstrom who is the Chair of Chippenham and Villages Area Board for Wiltshire and Cllr Ross Henning, Vice Chair. It will be wonderful to see the first footprints on the new equipment.
3rd June – Hullavington Village Hall Management Committee AGM – 7pm – village hall.
The bar will be open!

What does the Neighbourhood Development plan mean for you (the community)1
1. You have a real opportunity to influence how Hullavington grows, rather than having development imposed without local input.
2. You can help shape where new housing goes and what it looks like, including design, layout, and community benefits.
3. The plan helps ensure that, when development happens, the village gains from it—for example through community land, facilities, or better design.
4. Without this plan, there would be far less local say, and decisions would rely more heavily on national policies and developer proposals.
5. Your views matter—ongoing engagement ensures the plan reflects local priorities, concerns, and aspirations. Please complete the survey so that your voice is included.

Our village has so many great ways to become involved in making Hullavington great for the future.

There is something for everyone in Hullavington, from Bat and Chat Table Tennis, to Knit and Natter craft group as well as many community groups working hard to make sure Hullavington is the best it can be.
