Based on the true story and memoir of Helen Mcdonald

When Helen’s beloved father passes away, she is overtaken by grief and loses herself in memories of their time birding and exploring the natural world together.  Helen becomes obsessed with the idea of training her own goshawk, so she travels to Scotland where she buys a young hawk, and returns to Cambridge where she sets out to train the bird.

Every ticket bought, game played, and cake enjoyed will help us raise funds which helps provide enriching activities, exciting experiences, and valuable new equipment for the children of Hullavington School. We look forward to seeing you there and making this year’s School Fete our best one yet!

Presentations of the Neighbourhood Development plan – 1st August at the Church Hub with presentations at 10am and midday, 5th August in the Village Hall with presentations at 10am, 2pm and 4pm, 15th August in the Village Hall with presentations at 7pm and 8pm.
