What’s On?

Every Friday coffee morning at the church – 10am – 12midday, all welcome. First Saturday of the month – Hullavington Hub 11-1pm, tasty lunches served in the church and a stand selling 2nd hand jigsaws.

16th March – Neighbourhood Steering Committee – Village Hall – 7.30pm

The steering group meeting for the Neighbourhood Development Plan. Members of the public are welcome to attend. For the meetings calendar go to the Parish Council website here.


18th March – Film Night – Village Hall – 7.30pm

Doors open at 7.00.  The film will start at 7.30

£3.00 adults, under 18’s free.  Refreshments included.


28th March – Annual Parish Meeting – Village Hall – 6:30pm

With Neighbourhood Development Display – from 4:30pm

Featuring this year – in addition to the usual Annual Parish Meeting, a display to enable residents to catch up in the latest from the Neighbourhood Development Planning Team. The Hall will be open from 4.30pm with the information displays and an opportunity to meet the Team.

The Annual Parish Meeting (not a Parish Council Meeting) will include a summary from the Neighbourhood Development Team and updates from our lively community – including the many clubs, our Women’s Institute, Hullavington Benefit Society on the shop survey, and the Parish Council.

8th April – Parish Council Ordinary Meeting – Village Hall – 7.30pm

The monthly meeting of the Parish Council. Members of the public are welcome to attend and to ask questions at Public Question Time. For the Parish Council meetings calendar go to the Parish Council website here.


15th April – Home and computer security, a talk from Bobby Van, hosted by the WI – Village Hall 2pm

The WI is inviting everyone to a really important talk by the experts in personal security, whether it is your home or your computer. Since 1998, the Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust (WBVT) has worked in partnership with Wiltshire Police to provide a home security service for older people and people with disabilities throughout Wiltshire and Swindon. Their Stay Safe Online Volunteers provide: improved digital security awareness, scam prevention advice, support and reassurance; basic practical skills for checking and understanding digital privacy settings. 18th April – Farmily Fun Day from 12pm to 4pm

Classic country games, meet the animals, fun dog show, BBQ, teas and cakes.

Entrance £5, free for kids. In support of Stop Lime Down

21st April – Lime Down Solar – Preliminary meeting and Open Floor Hearing 1 – Neeld Community & Arts Centre, Chippenham from 9am

The Neeld Community and Arts Centre is centrally located in Chippenham in Borough Parade, SN15 3WL

An open floor hearing is for parties to speak directly to the Examining Authority about their views on the application.

If there’s space, unregistered attendees may also be able to enter.


22nd April – Lime Down Solar – Issue Specific Hearing 1 – Neeld Community & Arts Centre, Chippenham from 9am

The Neeld Community and Arts Centre is centrally located in Chippenham in Borough Parade, SN15 3WL

ISH1 relating to the scope of development, including (but not limited to): the draft Development Consent Order (dDCO), site selection, alternatives and design evolution, generating capacity.

22nd April – Film night and Shakespeare’s birthday! – Village Hall 7pm

Special screening of the wonderful new film, Hamnet! Celebrating the Bard’s birthday and world book night (23rd) – a writer, a book and a film.

Doors open at 7.00.  The film will start at 7.30
