This Autumn: the next important stage

Our next public consultation will take place in the Autumn of 2026. It will be the first opportunity to see how the new Plan is coming together and to understand the choices that have been made.

You will be able to:

· understand how the proposed housing requirement for Hullavington has been reached;

· see the ideas, evidence and community feedback that have helped shape the Plan;

· see for the first time the sites the Steering Group is recommending for allocation, and understand why they have been selected;

· review the proposed planning policies designed to protect Hullavington’s character and the qualities that make our village special; and

· talk directly to the team about the pressures for future development and what we can do, together, to influence the outcome.

There will be difficult choices. More development will bring understandable concerns, and people will have different views about where it should go and what it should look like.

But choosing not to plan does not mean choosing no development.

The strongest position for Hullavington is to plan positively, based on evidence, and to speak with a clear community voice.

Over the coming months, we want as many residents as possible to understand the proposals, question them, challenge them where necessary, and help us create a Neighbourhood Plan that gives Hullavington the strongest possible influence over its future.
