Help Keep Our Village Shop Open – Your Voice Matters
Our village shop, run by Paul Girn (who also owns the garage), is a vital part of Hullavington life. Sadly, it is currently not being used often enough to remain financially viable. If we want to protect this much-loved community asset, we need to come together and help shape its future.
Take Part in Our Community Survey
As a first step, the Hullavington Benefits Society has agreed with Paul to launch a short survey to better understand:
- How you currently use the shop
- What improvements you’d like to see
- What would encourage you to use it more often
Your honest and open feedback will help us prioritise practical improvements, recognising that not every idea may be achievable.

🗓 Survey closes: 31 January – please take a few minutes to respond as soon as possible.
Can You Help as a Volunteer?
We are also looking for volunteers who may be interested in supporting the shop, including potentially helping with occasional shifts. If you’d like to help, you can leave your details at the end of the survey.
Prefer Paper?
Paper copies of the survey will be available at:
- The Shop and Post Office
- Church coffee mornings (we’ll be attending)
All responses are completely anonymous, unless you choose to provide your contact details.
Let’s Protect a Cornerstone of Village Life
