What an incredible evening we had last night! Our Annual Parish Celebration was a true testament to the spirit of Hullavington. It was wonderful to see the Village Hall buzzing with so many familiar faces, all gathered to celebrate the clubs, societies, and volunteers that make our village tick.
Community Updates & Big Conversations
Last night wasn’t just about celebration; it was about our future.
- Lime Down Update: We had the opportunity to get the latest briefing on the Lime Down situation. This remains a significant topic for our parish, and we appreciate everyone who engaged with the updates and shared their concerns.
- NDP Progress: A huge thank you to the Neighbourhood Development Team for their catch-up session. Seeing the hard work going into our future planning is inspiring—thank you to everyone who stopped by to ask questions and provide feedback.
🎸 This Week’s Highlight: TruGrit LIVE!
Get ready to rock! This Saturday, 4th April, Hullavington once again plays host to a fantastic live music event.
The amazing TruGrit will be taking the stage, and if their previous shows are anything to go by, it’s going to be a night to remember.
- Tickets: Don’t miss out! Check the What’s On Page for full booking details and availability.
🗓️ Save the Date: WI Open Evening
Wednesday, 15th April | Village Hall 2pm
The Hullavington WI are opening their doors to everyone for a very important talk by the experts on Home and Digital Security. In an age of increasingly clever scams, this is a “must-attend” for practical advice on staying safe.
- Cost: Entry is FREE, though donations are very much welcomed.
- The Bonus: As always with the WI, the cake is to die for! Come for the advice, stay for the treats.
⚠️ Reminder: Road Closure Starts Tomorrow
Just a final “heads up” that the two-week road closure on The Street (by the Vistry site) begins tomorrow morning, Monday 30th March.
- Vehicle Access: Closed until 5:00pm on Friday, 10th April.
- Pedestrians: You can still walk through!
- Buses: Look out for the skeleton service posters around the village for the temporary timetable.
Please remember to drive carefully through Hill Hayes Lane if you are using it as an alternative route.
Have a productive and safe week, everyone!
