Hullavington Weekly: Music, Milestones, and a Village that Shines! šŸŒ»

It’s been a busy week in the parish, and the momentum isn’t slowing down. From live music for a cause to new playground adventures, here is everything you need to know about what’s happening in Hullavington. For full details go to the What’s On page here.

🌿 Wildlife in the Garden

Last Thursday evening, we enjoyed a fantastic presentation by theĀ Malmesbury Natural History SocietyĀ on how to welcome more wildlife into our own back gardens. From hedgehogs to pollinators, we all came away with plenty of inspiration for our own outdoor spaces.

šŸŽø Rocking Out for a Reason

If you’re looking for a night of great tunes and community spirit, head over to The Vine Tree for a special fundraising event in support of Stop Lime Down.

The fantastic Tin Shack Band will be performing live, bringing their signature sound to the pub for an evening dedicated to protecting our local landscape. It’s a brilliant way to show your support for the campaign while enjoying a great atmosphere.

šŸ‘‰ Tickets & Info: Grab yours via The Vine Tree Shop.

šŸš€ Adventure is Coming: Trim Trail Installation

The news the children (and parents!) have been waiting for is finally here. We are thrilled to announce that the Children’s Trim Trail will be installed on the Village Green on 1st and 2nd June.

Get ready to see the Green transformed into a hub of climbing and balancing. It will be delightful to see our little explorers put the new equipment to the test.

šŸ—³ļø Meetings This Week

We have sessions this week for those wanting to stay involved in village matters:

  • Monday, 7:30 PM:Ā TheĀ Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) Steering CommitteeĀ meets in the Village Hall. This is a key group shaping how our village evolves.
  • Wednesday, 7:30 PM:Ā OurĀ Annual and Ordinary Parish Council MeetingsĀ take place in the Village Hall. Residents welcome to attend.

✨ Hullavington is Shining!

A massive thank you to the “super turnout” of friends and neighbours who rolled up their sleeves this weekend for our village spruce-up. The village looks absolutely pristine in readiness for the Best Kept Village Competition.

Judging starts tomorrow (Monday) and runs until 7th June. Let’s keep that pride of place going while the judges are about—thank you for making Hullavington shine! šŸ†

Have a fantastic week, everyone!
