🥐 Bakery & Savoury Ordering: A Smash Hit!

A massive thank you to everyone who supported the kick-off of our new bakery and savoury ordering service at the village shop this week. The turnout and response were absolutely fantastic, proving once again how much we all love fresh, local treats. A huge thank you to the volunteers who make this happen.

We are fine-tuning the ingredients of this success story—more details on regular ordering slots and menus will follow shortly!

🗳️ Neighbourhood Development Plan: Final Call for Feedback!

This week is your absolute last opportunity to have your say on the future of our local area. Your input directly shapes housing, green spaces, and community infrastructure. Don’t let the deadline slip by without making your voice heard.

🏃 Coming Soon: The Children’s Trim Trail!

The countdown is officially on for our brand-new play space on the village green. Mark your calendars for the rollout:

  • Monday, 1st June: Installation officially begins on the green.
  • Tuesday, 2nd June (from 3:00 PM): The Official Grand Opening! Bring the kids down to try out the new trail—and yes, we have arranged for an ice cream van to be on-site to celebrate the occasion!

🎬 This Week: Film Night!

Don’t forget that Film Night is this Wednesday! Pop down, support our community cinema space, catch up with neighbours, and enjoy a great movie. This time it is FACKHAM HALL, age 15 and over!

A British comedy Starring Damian Lewis, Tom Felton and Jimmy Carr, who wrote the script.

£3.00 adults/under 18’s free, includes refreshments. Village Hall doors open at 7.00, films start at 7.30.
