Welcome to the Hullavington weekly!

As autumn moves in, it’s wonderful to see the community coming together to look out for one another and keep our village running smoothly.

A Huge Thank You to Our Community Helpers! 🍂

A massive thank you to everyone who has been out clearing gutters outside their homes and trimming back overhanging foliage along the footpaths. Keeping the pavements clear makes a huge difference to everyone, but it is especially vital for our disabled residents and parents pushing prams or walking with young children. Extra special gratitude goes to those thoughtful neighbours who have lent a hand clearing the areas outside the homes of our less able community members.

We’d also like to give a big shout-out to our local landowners. Thank you for taking the time to clear ditches—and a huge thank you to those going above and beyond by creating holding areas for flood water! By holding water back, you help prevent sudden rushes into the drainage system during heavy downpours.

Joyful Moments: New Stay & Play at the Church 🧸🎶

It is really good to see the new Stay and Play group up and running at the church!

Designed for pre-school children (ages 0–5) along with their parents and carers, it’s a lovely, welcoming space to enjoy:

  • Free play with plenty of toys
  • Fun music sessions
  • Storytime for the little ones
  • When: Every Friday during term time, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Where: Hullavington Church

Whether you’re looking for a friendly chat with other local parents or a fun morning out for your toddler, pop in and say hello!
