It is another busy week in our vibrant community! From shaping the long-term future of our village to enjoying a slice of pizza, there is plenty to get involved with over the next seven days.
Here is your breakdown of what’s happening in and around Hullavington:
🏛️ Planning & Progress: Monday & Wednesday
We have two meetings this week for those who want to stay informed about the village’s development.
- Monday Evening: NDP Steering Group The Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) team is meeting Monday night. Residents are very welcome to attend and listen in.
- Wednesday Evening: Parish Council Meeting The full Council will be meeting to discuss local matters, including the ongoing improvements to the Village Green.
🛡️ Quiz and chilli: Friday Night
While slightly outside the parish boundaries, many of us are closely following the Stop Lime Down effort. There is a fundraising event this Friday evening in Grittleton House. Tickets from www.stoplimedown.com/quiz
🍕 Rugby & Refreshments: Saturday Night
The Six Nations excitement continues! To make the match day even better, we have the Pizza Van visiting the village this Saturday. Timing details in What’s On.
- Time: pizza serving from 5:00 PM
🚧 A Note on the Roads: Thursday 12th
Keep an eye out for potential disruption this Thursday. There is a possibility of a road closure on February 12th to allow Openreach to carry out works. You can find details about road closures on the parish council website here.
- Status: Not yet confirmed! Let’s hope they manage to get the work sorted.
Most importantly – don’t forget its Valentine’s Day on Saturday! Cards, chocolates and wine in our shop
