Preparations are officially underway for the Annual Hullavington Village Show on Saturday, 29th August!

Whether you’re an expert baker, a keen gardener, an artist, or just love a bit of friendly community spirit, there’s a category for everyone to join in the fun.

🏆 Super News: Best Kept Village Competition!

We have fantastic news to share regarding this year’s Best Kept Village Competition! 🌸

Hullavington achieved an incredible score of 93 out of 100 (almost 95% of available marks!). The competition organiser shared these wonderful words of praise with us:

“A score of 93—almost 95% of the available marks—is an excellent result and reflects the considerable effort that has gone into the village. The judges’ comments clearly show that the improvements made since last year were noticed and appreciated. Building on last year’s third-place finish and achieving such a high score this year is something everyone involved should be extremely proud of.”

The judges praised our community care, clever conservation areas, and our wonderful bus shelters. A huge thank you to everyone who helps keep our village looking so beautiful—this achievement belongs to the whole community! 👏✨

🚌 Bus Updates: Free Travel for Kids

We have an important transport update for families using local buses this month:

• 🎟️ Free Bus Travel for Kids in August: Great news for families! Bus fares have been dropped for children aged 5 to 15 throughout August. It’s the perfect excuse for a summer day out!

🚧 Watch Out for Local Road Closures

There are upcoming road closures affecting the local area over the coming weeks.

🚏 Temporary Skeleton Service: Please note that bus timetables have been updated to a skeleton service at this time. Be sure to check the updated notices posted directly on the bus stops before setting off.
